How it works
Give us the audio
Upload a file or paste a YouTube or song link.
We find and transcribe the bass line
Even buried under drums, guitars, and vocals, we isolate the bass and work out what it’s playing, note by note, with fret positions that actually sit under your hand.
Get notation and tab back
PDF with both staves to print and play today, MIDI for your DAW, MusicXML to keep editing in MuseScore or Guitar Pro.
What we’re built for
Six bass lines every player knows — see the kind of tab and notation you get back.
Another One Bites the Dust
Queen
Probably the most recognizable bass riff ever written — eight notes that carry an entire stadium song.
View bass tab →Billie Jean
Michael Jackson
The line never stops and never repeats itself into boredom — the whole track is built on top of it.
View bass tab →Come Together
The Beatles
Slinky, swampy, and full of space — a masterclass in playing fewer notes than you think you need.
View bass tab →Good Times
Chic
The most sampled bass line in history — it became “Rapper’s Delight” and half of hip-hop after that.
View bass tab →Money
Pink Floyd
A 7/4 riff that somehow feels natural — the odd-time line that a generation learned to count on.
View bass tab →Teen Town
Weather Report
The fusion benchmark — fretless sixteenth notes at a tempo that humbles most players.

Learners
Worked out a line by ear and can feel yourself forgetting it? Get it on paper, with tab, before it’s gone.
Teachers
Turn a student’s reference track into practice material in minutes instead of an evening of ear-training.
Players in bands & transcribers
A fast first draft for the setlist — a starting point to correct by ear, not a replacement for the work you already do well.
FAQ
- Does it need to be bass-only?
- No — full mixes work. We isolate the bass from the rest of the track before we transcribe it.
- How accurate is it?
- Strongest on clean recordings where the bass is clearly audible in the mix. Heavily distorted or fuzz bass, dense low-end where bass and kick overlap, fast slap passages, and lo-fi live recordings are genuinely harder — for any transcriber, human or AI — and you may need to touch up the result by hand. We’d rather tell you that upfront than oversell it.
- What do I get back?
- A PDF with standard notation and tab, a MIDI file for your DAW, and a MusicXML file you can keep editing in MuseScore, Guitar Pro, or Sibelius.
- Can I choose the tuning or a 5-string?
- Standard 4-string E-A-D-G is the default today. Drop-D and 5-string support are on the plan — we won’t claim what isn’t shipped yet.
- Is it free?
- Pricing isn’t finalized. Submissions are free during this early period, and we’ll tell you before anything is ever charged.
