What the service does
BassTranscription accepts an audio recording or a link to one, isolates the bass part, and transcribes it into standard notation and tab. We email back a PDF, a MIDI file, and a MusicXML file.
Your rights in what you upload
You must have the rights to submit any recording or link you give us, or a lawful basis for having us process it (for example, personal study or fair use). By submitting a recording or link, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to generate your transcription. Transcriptions are intended for personal study and practice. You’re responsible for how you use the result under applicable copyright law.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to submit content you don’t have rights to, to abuse or overload the system, or for any unlawful purpose.
Delivery
Results are delivered to the email address you type in at submission time. Double-check it before you submit.
Pricing
Pricing isn’t finalized yet. Submissions are free during this early period. We’ll tell you before anything is ever charged — you will never be billed without notice.

The song pages on this site are for demonstration purposes only. Copyright in those songs stays with their respective owners.
As-is service & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Transcriptions are generated automatically and may contain errors, especially on difficult material. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us for the submission in question (which is currently zero).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
